Wow. What a whirlwind of a weekend.
We finished up a prototype public alpha of the startup we had come up with and could not have been more pleased with it. Although we didn't win, we got valuable feedback and experience developing a product and business idea over the span of 54-hours.
Bakstage.ME is a event check-in application based around group dynamics. Our Idea stemmed from the incredibly insane Friday at Startup Weekend Toronto. After the pitches, we had to attempt to find the people who had done them and get more information so we could make a decision on what team to join. The problem was that no one could remember all those people, and had very little information to find the people they needed. We then spent the first night creating a basic business model and outline for the application. The next 48-hours were a blur of coding and coffee.
